Spring Safari

Photography taken by Dave Jaranilla

This look was inspired by an interview on mens style icon, Nick Wooster. "I love the idea of subverting a beautifully tailored jacket in camo," he stated about his insight for this summer. In a previous post I did with a vintage army jacket, I took a more casual approach. The pattern on this jacket is quite unique, and I wanted to portray a look that was the complete opposite.
I wanted this outfit to be more tailored, simple, and sophisticated. This look kind of reminded me of a trendy safari guide. I used the camo jacket as a blazer donned over an indigo blue button up. I tucked in the button up, and I used a brown leather belt to hold up the black chino shorts. Spring weather is beautiful, and the best time to absorb some sunlight. I rolled up my sleeves and black chino shorts. It is always about the details. I put on my pair of rich brown leather oxford wingtips to match the belt.

    1. Thank you Christina! I haven't come across any specifically for women. However, I do see a lot of women wearing these camo jackets. Women can pull it off if they find the right fit. Good luck. Cheers!
