"For over 200 years, U.S. Army soldiers have served their country with honor. Servicemen and women are armed with training, technology, and the clothing on their backs—clothing that has protected, warmed, cooled, comforted, and at times even saved lives.
In 2013, Authentic Apparel set out to create a line of clothing that would capture those exact same attributes—authentic clothing that would pay homage to America’s military spirit while also being thoroughly modern. Taking the heart and soul of classic military apparel and tailoring it with an eye toward modern fashion." - Authentic Apparel Group
Military influences are huge in the fashion world, especially menswear. But before fashion, military apparel's purpose was intended for function. The line created by Authentic Apparel Group offers a wide selection that not only look trendy, but are quality clothes that are known for their longevity and enduring status. You can wear Authentic Apparel with pride, knowing they are a celebration of the United States Army and everything it stands for. Clothes that support our soldiers is something I highly support.
The Admirals Aviator Jacket that I am wearing is a perfect example of the brands purpose. I love the detail, tailoring, pop of color, and function of the jacket. Not only does the jacket break wind, it can also be used for comfortable light layering. My layers consist of a camo tank and distressed denim button up. I accessorized with gunmetal Ray-Ban aviators and Norse Project Cap I purchased at Buffalo Exchange. To complete the look I wore authentic militray boots that I had thrifted paired up with some black cuff pants. Support clothes that support us and check Authentic Apparel Group!
