I shot this look in Place Masena, Nice before catching a tram to the train station. My color scheme was inspired by the buildings in Monaco, which was my next destination. I wanted to dress up a bit knowing that I was going to visit the infamous Monte Carlo Casino. It was a typical summer day, and I didn't want to be covered in long garments. For this summer look, I wore these rad striped shorts from Scotch & Soda, which I got for a steal at Buffalo Exchange. The rest of my choices for this outfit were neutral colors to keep the focus on the color of my shorts. I threw on my Ray-ban Clubmaster sunnies, some wrist candy, and a pair of suede Guess shoes.

That night's dinner was at La Rossettisserie, a family owned restaurant with a menu of traditionally cooked food. This was by far the coolest place I have eaten. The first floor looks like a pleasant restaurant, but our table was in their cellar. Strange thought, right? The waitress lead us down candle lit stairs, which was dark and mysterious for about a 15 seconds. The reveal was a dim lit cave with a moist atmosphere. It almost feels as if you were eating back in historic times. My two favorite starters were their duck terrine with small pickles and homemade sardine rillettes on toast. The sardine spread was exquisite, and didn't possess a fishy taste due to their perfect balance of ingredients. Th half chicken was by far the best tasting out of their options of meat. It was so moist and flavorful from their seasoning of herbs. I ordered the crème brulée vanilla which was delicious, but I heard their pistachio flavor was even better. I might have to get that next time.
