Lately, our California summer has been gloomy. Our mornings are super cloudy, and by the end of the day summer appears. A great way to handle "fall weather in the summer" is to choose earthy tones when putting your outfit together. I read an article from Urban Outfitter's and they agreed that green signifies newness. Along with neutrals colors, greens are an everlasting color throughout the seasons, it all depends on the correct choice of warmth or coolness.
I wanted to showcase the options of greens and how to use them in your outfit. You can make a statement by choosing bold pieces like this satin bomber jacket, and layer a soft tonal print underneath. Camo prints are great for the spring/summer. I chose a chino pant in olive to unify the greens and neutrals together. Then to top off the look I chose warm earthy leather accents.
